We have a long list of old places we want to visit. This is the value, if you love such places.

These first nine are still in their original state as planned and built by Donald Ross. Small tea areas, short and narrow, the flat fairways and smaller greens guarded by smaller, deep bunkers.

The second nine were built later. They already have more modern features. The teas are taller and still narrow and short. The greens are much bigger, taller and much more poisonous, many fall outwards.

It is a place that is easy to play and ring. Most - even - holes are in the orange plantations. The three moats are hardly involved.

Maintenance and care is as usual for Highlands and old places rather rustic.
