We traveled 100km back and forth to learn that members of our Golfclub are not allowed to play (they had a list of ard 30 clubs) - no further reason was given. Nobody told us when we called regarding a teetime, also no hints on their internet site. Totally unacceptable!

For our golf weekend, we chose the Oberhessischer Golfclub Marburg eV on the first day. We, the board members of the "Play for Life" golf club (handicap 5.3 and 18.5), were already able to experience the friendliness of the ladies in the secretariat during the preliminary correspondence about a tee time. We were also given a very warm and extremely friendly welcome at our appointment.
The golf course itself was in top condition. The greens were fast and true to the line, which made for a challenging but fair game. Each hole was exciting and varied, so it was almost difficult to appreciate the wonderful views and the beauty of the course.
Special praise goes to the entire golf club team. We were treated in a friendly and courteous manner at all times, which made our stay an all-round successful experience.
We had a fantastic day of golf in Marburg, which we will remember for a long time. Many thanks to these wonderful colleagues.

There was little going on on Saturday - the gentlemen traveling - and we were allowed to play a varied course for two. Well-kept greens despite the extreme drought, challenging slopes, many planes (the small ones), challenging topography overall. Gastro also very friendly.
