Classic dune course

Superbly situated in the dunes of Montrose. Beyond it drops steeply to the spectacular beach. Relatively easy course, fairly sheltered from the wind by the dune wall, with few bunkers that are not deep. But next to the fairways there are often deep gorse bushes where the ball is inevitably lost. In June the fairways were still quite green. Worth mentioning is the cozy and affordable Gray Harlings Hotel in the former 19C clubhouse just off the 1st tee. A very typical, beautiful course!
