Boring Course

Driver and n°7, Driver and n°6, Driver and Pitch, Driver and n°6... and so on : ...all the par 4 and par 5 are similiar. Golf is another thing for me! Good for new golfers who only wants to bang.

If you want to shot your drive, you can play at Modena course, but igìf you want to play golf... stay away. The course is long but boring. Grees are terrible! Fairways always wet (i played with sunny, but everywhere with water in my shoes) . Bad restaurant and restrooms. Staff not friendly and green fee too expensive.

We played here at the beginning of October. The facility including the clubhouse is very nice. Interesting tracks, very varied. However: all 18 tees were broken and consisted only of dirt. On the first 9 all the greens were more or less disastrous. On the second 9 there were a few greens that were in usable condition. Holes, apparently also infested with fungus or something similar made serious putting impossible. Price/performance doesn't fit at all because no discounts were given. Not recommended until these deficiencies have been eliminated. Overall, the good times may be over here as many parts of the place were also unkempt.

I played the course in late October 2018 and was surprised by the condition. Unfortunately not always positive. The fairways have certainly suffered extremely in the summer and the tracks are still clearly visible, but that's still okay. Around the greens were obviously straight repair work and it was missing in part the Vorgrüns (pallets with lawn tile were already next to it).
The first 9 holes are not easy to play, because through the trees, the fairway visually quite narrow. The second 9 are fairer, even if a ball does not land on the fairway.
I think with a lot of work you can bring the place back to the beginning of 2019 in a top condition, but now with a reduction of 70, - € are too expensive.

In addition, since 2014, following European directive, Italian Governament has banned all chemical products that could help preventig turf diseases and we are strictly observing such rules, also because we believe in the importance of respecting environment. That is why you may not have found the course at its top level.
As far as the club house is concerned, we would be grateful if you could explain the point, as our goal is to try to improve our facilities day after day.
Finally, at the moment we are making a 20% reduction on green fees, since we recognize the course conditions are not as perfect as we wish. Probably you have paid full green fee, because you had some different reduction (2x1).
