Great spot at 2500 m above sea level

It's really not easy to play golf in Mexico City, as almost all the courses are privately owned. Even at Los Encinos, you can only play with members and a caddie. Important: everything really needs to be organized in advance, otherwise you have no chance of even getting to the golf club.
The course is impeccably maintained, not at all crowded, and truly enjoyable. The holes are well integrated into the landscape of trees, and there are also a few water hazards. The back nine are somewhat more challenging—the greens are generally very fast and anything but easy to play. Refreshments are frequently provided, and the caddies smooth out any bumps or ruts on the fairways.
Specifically: the balls definitely fly a bit longer at 2500 meters above sea level, but you also have to get used to the thin air first.
In the open-air restaurant, many Mexican specialties can be served before/after the usual dishes.
All in all, an unforgettable round of golf!
