Played once Jan 21. It was extremely windy but still enjoyable. The front 9 is average, the back 9 beautiful running along the cliff tops. The course condition was immaculate which is why I give it 4 stars. the price is ridiculous at €140 standard green fee, I used the twilight rate which brought it down to just over €100 which seems to be the standard (rip-off) canaries rate. Compared to Anfi down the coast, it is not as spectacular a layout, but is in slightly better condition and has better golfer facilities, meaning a nearby range and clubhouse. If I was playing 6 times at a €100 a round between the two of them, I'd play Meloneras 2 times and Anfi 4 times. It is not particularly long, so I would suggest the back sticks if you hit your drives over 230 years.

The best-kept course of the three I’ve played (Salobre old, Real Club de Golf de Las Palmas, Lopesan Meloneras).
They even have a birdie book unlike Salobra and Real Club de Las Palmas.
Buggys are clean, equipped and guided by GPS.
Balls on the driving range are normal, unworn.
Unfortunately the first 9 holes are being restored, so it was crowded in the second round.
Greens are hard, so there are no pitch marks, you don’t need a fork.
The open 9 holes are not particularly demanding but they have a beautiful sea view.

This golf course is truly amazing! Visited this course in July-18, and was amazed by the scenery and course condition in it self.
The service at arrival was first class, and the staff were nothing but extraordinary service minded!
Maybe the golf course was not the most challenging I ever played, but by far the most well maintained course I experienced!
So with that said, that’s the main reason why we chose going back to Gran Canaria for our summer vacation! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I was playing there in 2nd of january, this year. It was gorgeous, everything was as they present me before. They were more than warm. I would suggest to rent a buggie, just because it is a long course and the views are very enjoyable. Don't waste your time just for walk! Take your camera, the back 9 holes are near the ocean and the views (repeteadly speaking) are breathtaking! I was impressed even for the marechal who spend his time really supervising the game speed, which was perfect! Just perfect...
Very strong recommend this course. Of course, there is another choice in GRAN CANARIA, but my opinion this is very valuable one, too... Definiteley with a century more developed (about the rules, and views) than MASPALOMAS GOLF CLUB, even is a little bit further from MASPALOMAS (to PUERTO RICO, around 5-7 km) .

For me, the most beautiful place on this island once again impressed with its very good course maintenance. Tee boxes and fairways in great condition, bunkers with soft sand very easy to play, greens fast and stable.
Unfortunately, it is a common practice to put the tees so far forward on certain holes that the character of the fairway is significantly changed. For example, the par 3 of the 12th, a normally great hole, but when the yellow tees are put on red I just don't think it's okay.

We have been playing this course on golf vacations on GC for many years. With the exception of additional black and white tees, the course has not changed and is basically still fun.
Currently we played the course yesterday. All greens freshly sanded (great, at least we were allowed to drive for free) and it was casually mentioned that the DR was closed, how long the young lady could not say in her rather limited friendly way. So no pounding, just on the round. Only the putting green was open, but also sanded.
The cart was ready, containing water for 2 players, no tees as was customary in the past. Course was empty probably due to the very inclement weather so quiet relaxed golfing.
Another coffee after the round. There were no offers like snacks, cakes or similar, only exactly 2, in words -two- ice cream were still available, probably left over from last season. Service was zero, payment had to be imposed. But you could call a taxi quickly and efficiently.

Really a beautiful facility, played the course twice in early February 2023.
As soon as you arrive, you will be rewarded with a great view from the terrace. Super friendly and funny staff at the front desk.

The whole system is well maintained, tees fairways top and incredibly hard and fast greens!
The first nine lanes are more of a parkland course with palm trees, but the second nine are just awesome. Mostly along the sea with great views and exciting tracks. Partly over gorges, where it can get tight with a headwind :-).
And if it takes longer due to the fact that not only professionals play the course, just sit down and enjoy the view.
All in all a great experience to play this course.

Great Place with heavy greens points to the 2nd Nine only really beating. The holes on the sea give real head turner and are partly a real challenge - at least when the wind from the "wrong" direction blows. The course maintenance is excellent.
