Golf fun on vacation

During our round yesterday we really enjoyed the place with sun and no wind. Service: very good; Greens: perfect condition (slow); Linksbahn: fantastic views of the dunes and the Baltic Sea; Parkland tracks: Doglegs with “water accompaniment”.
The drought has also dried out the fairways, so better laying is needed. Please note: On an island you cannot water the sandy soil as much as nature does in Scotland.

For the first time we have detected incorrect positioning of the red flag over the location of a golf course. The flag points towards the interior of the island at Byrum, while the site is on the north-east coast 2.5 km west of Österby harbour.

Was today - after a few years again - on Læsø in the Læsø Seaside GC and played 18 holes. And yes, it is not a perfect place and the condition of maintenance can certainly be better in some places. In fact, maintaining the place in wind and sun is not that easy. The greens are relatively slow and the wind has a permanent influence. And that's clear beforehand. Overall, I think the course is much better than the rating from 2019. The course is tricky and not just easy to play, but the view of the Baltic Sea is great compensation at many holes. Therefore 4 out of 5 points - the space in itself would have deserved 3...

Unfortunately, I can not confirm the previous reviews - what must have happened here? Actually a challenging course with great tracks, but, there are no fairways, everything unkempt, completely dried up, for the most part only the bare sand / earth. The tees are still ok, the greens are maintained and are 80% in great shape. Too bad to see something like that, but that explains the price of 20 € the round. Nevertheless, I can not recommend the place.
