Great golf experience

This is an excellent course, just outside of Salamanca. A good test of golf with lots of trees to punish wayward drives. The greens are fairly small and undulating, and are protected by excellent bunkering that isn't over the top. Water comes into play on 3 holes. The course was in superb nick in all respects. Greens are receptive and very true. It's a good fair challenge.
The club has very good practice facilities and the club house provides excellent food with great service.
Overall, a great golfing experience. And Salamanca is a stunning city. Well worth three or four days (or more) of anyone's holiday.

Grand Place

The square was designed by Severiano Ballesteros and was then abandoned and forgotten for many years. A new investor was found and gaming has been possible again since September 2021. I played there in September, then Christmas 2021 and Easter 2022. I'm often in Salamanca, there are two other places. However, La Valmuza is something special: fairly short holes, especially the par 5, but narrow and lined with impenetrable holm oaks. Hardly a ball is lost, but the trees, the bunkers and the small greens make the game very exciting. A place for strategists in the typical, slightly hilly landscape.

The course has an intense social life due to its proximity to the city, the restaurant is excellent, the terrace offers a great view of several greens and the practice facilities. The driving range leaves nothing to be desired.

Driving range, putting green, school and restaurant open and fully operational

Finally and very soon we will be able to enjoy this wonderful course, and this time, with the clear intention of turning golf into a sport for everyone. It has a nursery school with complementary activities to golf, and it is wonderful to see children from 4 or 5 years old start playing and practicing sports in the open air, in addition to making friends, disciplining themselves and consolidating values.
Remarkable is the Restaurant, the terraces, the wonderful views of the lake and the field, the ability to use the practice field at any time, for the ease they offer you by leaving your clubs and providing you with everything you need, to make your day an unexpected one. and amazing experience. I leave you updated information that they provided me because he assured you that I will repeat and when they open the field at the end of June or the beginning of July I will make it a must in my day to day.
Thank you for your attention, your facilities and sympathy.

Reopening in March or April 2021

After seven years closed, the La Valmuza golf course has begun the recovery and conditioning works so that this course will once again be a benchmark in Spain. Its new owner is the "Grupo Andrés".

In summer it is expected to have all the facilities available and in March or April 2021 it is planned to reopen the practice area, the golf school and the cafeteria.
