The Kirinara Golf Course is beautifully situated in a hilly landscape and surrounded by numerous palm trees. Visually, the course is a highlight, and from a playing perspective, it offers a moderate level of challenge. The fairways were well-maintained, the greens in good condition, and overall, the course is enjoyable even for higher handicappers.
There were problems with the organization and service. Despite our online confirmed tee time, no caddies were available upon our arrival, even though they are mandatory. As a result, we had to unexpectedly use the driving range. The teeing grounds there were uneven, and the balls provided were clearly reclaimed balls that had been lost and collected earlier.
The caddies assigned later were friendly, but neither their playing skills nor their knowledge of the course were helpful. They couldn't judge distances and barely fulfilled their duties. Additionally, we encountered a six-person flight on the second hole, which is not permitted in regular golf. The caddies' improvised solution of skipping several holes and playing staggered rounds disrupted the flow of play.
The clubhouse appears to be poorly maintained overall. At the end, there was a discrepancy with the bill. They wanted to charge for 18 holes and range balls, even though only 9 holes were played and the balls had already been paid for in cash.
The scenery is very beautiful, the gameplay is solid, but the organization clearly needs improvement.

Quiet and green

9 holes in green, beautiful landscape, surrounded by smaller mountains and hills. No annoying houses on and around the square. Flat course with 9 holes, with slight maintenance issues, especially the greens.
Not a particularly difficult place. But requires straight play. Not long.
#4 a good par 3 island green.
Quiet during the week, little activity.

Interesting golf experience

After the advertising review, I'll try to sum up our impressions.
The price of 1600 baht officially includes the fee for the caddy. The actual caddy fee of 300 baht will be retained as a "mandatory tip". The golf club can also organize transfers from Khoa Lak upon request.
On our morning in February, about 6 players were registered for the day. Start times are therefore very unproblematic.
The place is well maintained. The greens are sometimes very undulating but sanded and therefore not too fast. There is a lot of water and the fairways are mowed short down to the water, so when in doubt the ball is in the water more often.
The caddies were the problem for us. The ladies always smiled friendly, made the most of their very manageable English vocabulary but had no idea about golf. The carts only drive on the cart paths. Then you make your way to the ball on the first few holes with the club recommended by the caddy and try to make the best of the wrong choice of club.
The whole thing wasn't fun and we didn't play Kirinara again (although we had our own rackets with us).
By the way, it took us 2 hours and 40 minutes to play 18 holes, thanks to the constant pressure and the creative drop decisions of the caddies, who wanted to be home for lunch.

Beautiful 9hole space

We got to know and love the Kirinara GC today! Only 30 minutes away from Khao Lak is the very new place!
We were warmly welcomed in front of the clubhouse!
We played with rental clubs! These were very well maintained and there are rackets to choose from for every skill level!
After a few strokes on the small driving range, it went on the round!
Course maintenance very good, good fairways and very good greens!
The greens were not too fast, but sometimes well undulating and tricky!
The first 5 holes have a lot of water hazards, but are all fair courses and for every level of play exciting and good to play!
Several tracks have two greens, ie at 18 holes you play the one on the first nine and the other greens on the second nine! Therefore, be sure to book 18 holes!!
In the whole a really interesting golf experience we will certainly repeat!
By the way, we have for 18 hole 2h. 45min. needed, also thanks to the good caddies!
