Length and precision are very important, fairways and greens in good condition but deep bunkers all over the place - a true experience

Home to a world class Jack Nicklaus Signature Course suitable to golfers of all abilities, Killeen Castle Golf Club can boast not only a glorious landscape and idyllic setting, but a golfing experience unlike any other. It is a wonderful test of golf, and certainly one of Nicklaus' finest creations whilst also being voted regularly the Best Parkland Course in the greater Dublin area.

Golf experience with a backdrop!

We played the course at the end of May 2022 and found a golf course with wonderful old trees. The tees and fairways were in immaculate condition; the greens fast and on track. The golf course is designed in such a way that you can always see the old castle - great sight! We particularly liked hole 2 (par 5), hole 9 (par 4) and hole 12 (par 5). Nice detail: the bunker on hole 1 has the shape of the "Ireland cloverleaf"!
