I played here in November 2025. On a Sunday (the first working day of the week in Egypt). It was completely empty, which I found wonderful.
The course was in excellent condition, quite hilly, varied, and offered beautiful views at every turn. The villas located directly on the fairways didn't bother me at all – unlike on some other courses.
The training facilities are in good condition, the clubhouse is impressive, and I got a cool drink in the restaurant afterwards - so everything is good.
I found the price to be fair.
The only minor drawback: I had a set of loaner clubs that I hadn't checked when I picked them up, and only later noticed that the woods had women's shafts. That made for some funny ball flights...

The professional golf course with 27 holes (Championship Course + 9-hole course) extends the midst of the metropolis of Cairo. Lovingly arranged water hazards with rare plants alternate with bunkers in front of the green. The fairways are well maintained, the greens fast and fair. Stunning views from elevated tees leave some golfers a moment longer than they should enjoy the view. Around the golf course exceptional, magnificent villas are built on almost all tracks.
The golf team was immediately on arrival to the site (first class service) - this had a positive impact that various international tournaments are played at Katameya Heights. "Sophisticated" is the clubhouse with its contemporary design (70 years) and his delicious little card after the game.
