Two very solid great places.
The East Course is the longer of the two, you have to stretch properly to reach the green with the second shot. Almost tame is the West Course.
In 1997 we played here for the first time, still built on the original seats of Mark Mahannah. They were already good at that time - also well maintained - and had fun.
Even today I occasionally take a sweater, which I bought here then - a saleswoman from Switzerland from Basel served me - with on the journey. This is a big quality award.
In the meantime, a few laps and years have passed.
The two courses have been redesigned by Bobby Weed - a specialist in the renovation of golf courses. The result is very good. The many beautiful trees and palm trees were preserved as much as possible. It was taken to the original design consideration. Somehow, the new ones remind me of places by Pete Dye.
You can find everything on the round, holes with or without water. Big greens - which are great to play - with weak to good ondulierungen. They are usually very well defended with really poisonous big bunkers.
The fairways are rather flat to moderately undulating. There is enough room for the driver.
He is really needed on the East Course, otherwise the second will be heavy and long. He is a challenge, you have to have a good day to play his score.
