Beautiful spot with sea view

The small coastal town can be roughly divided into two areas, separated by a main road. The first is presumably the older part, located between the road and the beach. Here, among other things, are a few architectural eyesores from the 1970s. The second area, situated above the road, is a 27-hole golf course, harmoniously integrated with houses of no more than two stories along the edges of the fairways.

We played the Blue/Yellow combination on December 1st, 2025. Apart from a few sloping tee boxes, the course was in good condition. Given the hilly terrain, playing with a cart is recommended. A course book or checking an app beforehand is also certainly helpful, as there are many doglegs and plenty of blind shots. The elevation changes, doglegs, constant slopes, water hazards, and of course, the many pine trees present a challenge. We found the layout particularly well-designed and had a lot of fun. The course surprises you on every hole – whether with a sea view or an unexpected fairway design.

The staff were all friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the driving range has no targets – except for a large tree. As is often the case on the Costa de la Luz, drivers are prohibited, and the range balls are quite worn. There's a large putting green next to the range and a smaller one near the 1st and 10th tees. There's also a well-used chipping/pitching green.

The restaurant with its terrace and view of holes 1 and 10 is also highly recommended. We played at the twilight rate about 5 hours before sunset and the course was practically empty. Absolutely recommended.

Short but sweet

The 18 holes played on the Azur / Amarillo course were not too long; most of the par 5 holes, for example, were under 450 meters long from the yellow tees.
The narrow, undulating fairways and the relatively small greens still make every hole a challenge, especially when, as on our round, there is also wind.
The condition of the property was good in mid-November.

The service was also good.
Because the course was quite full, the club rebooked us onto a different combination, as our playing partners only wanted to play 9 holes and we would have had to wait a long time on the back nine as a two-person flight among four-person flights. When we pointed out that we had been looking forward to the trickiest course combination, blue/yellow, we were promptly rebooked back onto the original combination. The wait was then quite reasonable.

Gladly played with

Blue and yellow very interesting with some beautiful views and a number of great holes. Green is okay but nothing earth shattering. Nice clubhouse including a nice terrace, funny and friendly Caddymaster. Green fee in the low price segment.
