A fantastic course in exceptional condition, with incredibly beautiful fairways winding through the wooded area, the greens are hard and fast, the fairways perfect, and the (blooming) heather adds a touch of rust-red and purple to the landscape. Certainly not an easy course, but one you should play if you're in the area. It's hosted several Dutch Opens in the past. Advance booking is mandatory, Monday to Thursday. The reception is very friendly, range balls are included, there's no pro shop, the clubhouse is steeped in (golf) history, and the food is unpretentiously simple.
