...this not quite full-blown golf course, based in Daytona Beach by Bill Amick - the oldest golf course design office - founded in 1959 - in Florida.
The rather simple course corresponds to his philosophy of building affordable courses for the public, and the greens are too.
You can easily walk it, the distances are usually short.
A course that is completely flat, as are the greens.
The layout is neat, the first nine are shorter - little water - the second nine are longer and more challenging.
The greens, which are usually rather small, require more work and are difficult to play on. There are three par 4s that you can attack - well under 300 meters - keeping the ball on the green is the big task, they are tough.
The maintenance is good and the greens are very good. They are very easy to play, with good speed. Although they look very harmless, they are tricky...
We stayed at this resort and were able to find a suitable home for all team members.
Very nice and courteous staff.
We really enjoyed our time here and attended several courses in the region.
