nice golf in a nice landscape

there is an old part with the *old* 9 holes. playing this part feels at times like playing in a beautiful fairy tale forrest, with trees, waterponds. all lush and green. t-shots are often very narrow and challenging. the new additional 9 holes are set into a wide open range. it takes some time to grow trees and good fairways...
the course is hilly and fun to play with some very long holes. and one thing is amazing: the only thing you hear are golfers and birds. i can recommend to play *hercules* especially with this value for money.

The course was overall in good to very good condition.
The greens and tees were very good, there were a few bare spots around some of the greens. The fairways were not cut evenly short and some bunkers needed additional sand. Overall, the price-performance ratio is very good. I cannot share the other negative reviews.

The reception in the clubhouse was very friendly and to the 40 € Greenfee we had to pay extra than 2 Spaniards extra insurance? The place is very hilly and partly very narrow with old forest on both sides of the fairway. The condition was unfortunately very bad. The fairways were like a field, many sand bunkers were rather a waste area and the green very slow and bumpy. The green fee was excessive for the condition... a pity.
