One of my new favourites

We did not have this course on Our Radar for Long Time. It is a Nicely Designed Parkland style course. The Start was not to difficult, but in The end, The course Shows it's Teeth. Specially nr. 15 is a spectacular hole. The condition of The course is immacolouse. You CAn feel The Passion of The Owners with Every Detail. There are always People on The course WHO bring it back in shape, After it was neglevted for a Couple of years. we will come again!

We live in Pecs Hungary and can drive there quickly. The rooms are comfortable. ROBERT, ROB, makes your stay there very pleasant and is there when you need him. We have met a lot of very nice golfers there. The food is good and freshly prepared. The owners Judith and Paul are super people.

This originally interesting golf course is an absolute no-go area at the moment. Complete lack of maintenance for a longer period. A recently arrived Irish head greenkeeping is trying to save things, but the course is NOT PLAYABLE for the coming months. We had booked for 2 nights and 3 rounds of golf but we left after the first unfinished round.

European Lakes is a fantastic resort to visit. Based close to Lake Balaton it is about 2 motorway driving from Budapest and close to the City of Pecs. The golf course is set in a haven of natural beauty and will offer a challange to even the most accomplished player. The restaurant is famous for it's great food and excuisite Hungarian wines. There is always a bit of craic in the Irish bar where guests can relax and enjoy a sing song. The package prices offer probably the best value in Europe for such a top class resort... Well worth a visit.

The long journey from Zala Springs is not worth it. The owner of an old Hungarian castle/estate has built a super golf course in the estate park.
Old trees, gentle ups and downs and lightning-fast greens await the green fee player!
The area shows signs of disrepair at every corner, but the widow and current owner of the original golf course builder manages to keep the golf course in good condition.
The bunkers and fairway edges could be better maintained, but the overall package in the Hungarian nowhere is convincing! The entire facility is very authentic!
If Zala Springs were to offer something together with the National Course, Lake Balaton could be a nice little golf destination.

After 20 years, we came back to the Hencse National yesterday. Unbelievable what nature and the loving and professional care have made of this place. A parkland course at its finest. Good condition of greens and fairways. The layout is a great mix between classic parkland and the many holes adapted to the water. A real gem in southwest Hungary.

We played for the first time on this unique facility on 04.06.2017. (4 persons) The place is in an excellent condition - well-kept fairways and greens. Varied trails in a dream landscape. Card recommended. Hotel plant again in operation. The rooms all very clean. The original owners have bought back the place and you can feel with what passion they now try to get back. A must for every golf and nature lover. We have addressed the owners on why there is no advertising for this excellent place. The answer says it all: Recommend us only to people with whom they also want to play here.
