Needed a short golf course in the morning before the late afternoon 18-hole round on Brora! Helmsdale 9Loch is wonderfully situated in a valley foothill right on the outskirts of the small village of Helmsdale. Footgolf holes in the middle of the golf course, short tricky holes and really not well maintained. Nevertheless, we found the round quite funny...!

The place is pure golf. We were allowed to throw in the green fee in an envelope. The place is more of a links light with some parkland. Well cared for and yet unbelievably original and natural. The greens were at the top level. We spotted 3 players on the pitch from afar. Just play golf without Tra-Ra for 20 pounds (if you like)
