Father & son Nicklaus

... planned and built this course, as always when Nicklaus builds there are big bunkers.
These fairways with marginal modeling are great to play - very wide - in front of the greens they are partly well undulating. But they also shook up material around the bunkers.
This course has some challenging holes, seven par 4 have more than 400 yards - some significantly more - back tees. The driver is allowed to work, water is equal to four times. He is good at playing gold teas, but he is good at blue teas.
The greens are very good, today they were fast but not easy. These can lead to more work, because they have very fine breaks but hardly any undulations.
Very well maintained facility, with a great clubhouse, as well as nice staff.
It was a great pleasure to play here.
