South course played as part of the DBM

From the hotel in Niedernhausen, the GPS first took us to the north course, but after a short tour we found the place. The two places are close to each other and you still have to drive over by car.
Arrived at the clubhouse everything makes a good impression and we were greeted warmly. The practice areas are big enough and well maintained. They are also centrally located and no long distances are necessary. It was 15 meters from the putting green to the 1st tee.
The fairways are green and in good condition (height of cut, etc.). The bunkers could do with "new" sand, but nobody wants to go in there anyway. There is a lot of space around the greens and the cutting length is fair, warped balls can still be played there and are easy to find. What is sometimes harder on the tracks, sometimes due to blind shots. Even hopeless in the rough. Better to be shorter and controlled than long and with a spread.
The greens are predominantly heavily undulated and of medium speed. After the first putts, some of which were too long, we were able to get used to the greens. The tracks are varied and offer challenges and opportunities for every level. In order to cope well with the course, it should certainly be played more than once. We will be back definitely.
We only visited the gastro for a drink, it is very well maintained and beautiful. The service was friendly and quick. So we can't write anything about the food.
The north course (where the companion tournament was played) appears to be less spectacular, the lanes have been described as rather boring as they feel very monotonous. But the condition was good. So everyone has to find out for themselves.

Hey everyone, certainly a good golf course (south course) with good greens, but that's about it. Unfortunately, the halfway house is always closed in May and June 2023, so refreshments with drinks or snacks are not possible on the south side. Surely that shouldn't be the case. There is also no active ranger to check if everything is ok and maybe something can be improved on the round so that the game stays in good flow. All non-existent on the north course, that's no better.
