Short round in a beautiful landscape

Played on February 25th, 2020. The 9-hole, par 30 course (3 x PAR 4.6 x PAR 3), in the immediate vicinity of the A1 near Hagen, is scenically attractive, but is more suitable for a quick short round in between or for a training session. Lanes 5 and 6 (each PAR 4) have a few meters difference in height, the rest of the course is rather flat. A dogleg (lane 1 / PAR 4) and two water hazards come into play. One has the impression that the lanes were created where there was just enough space. The club house with attached restaurant offers a small, rudimentary locker room and sanitary facilities. The office is only temporarily occupied, for example not on Mondays and Tuesdays. The appropriate green fee (5 € more expensive on weekdays from 1 p.m.) may be paid via a green fee mailbox. The game operation on a partly sunny Tuesday afternoon was manageable. The few players I met greeted warmly. According to the motto "golf for everyone", the atmosphere is very relaxed. Due to the season, winter discounts were set, but summer greens. The greens were fine, if not perfect. Actually, the place should have been closed because it was so wet due to the rain of the past few days that it sometimes took off your shoes when walking. Just the right thing to relax after a hard day. Place is very nice and the tracks are partly really sporty and demand a precise game. Very well maintained area. The gastronomy has changed and now no more Swedish cuisine is offered but very good Italian. We recommend! Unfortunately the club has a new manager who can not greet but does not follow the rules of golf etiquette. It mies with the good mood which actually in this plant prevailed.
Maybe you are not enough HC 38 but would like to have only players from HC 20 on their place. Pity!
