Characteristics
This beautiful 27-hole course is situated in the midst of the northern part of the Teutoburger Forest nature park. At the highest point, the teeing ground of the 7th hole, the golfer has a terrific panoramic view of the Ravensberger Land as far as to the Hermann monument and the Porta Westfalica. The diversified topography is also reflected in the design of the holes.

Excellent golfcourse

This is a superior golfcourse. We (Dutchies) played it with 6 people on June 5 and 6 in the year 2023. Due to our age (70+) a buggy was needed. We had beautiful wether, the course was in perfect shape, greens very fair but not easy. The reception at the clubhouse was extremely friendly and customer oriented.
A course to visit again!!

I played the course at the end of June 2024 as part of a guest tournament.
We also did a practice lap the day before.
The GC Teutoburger Wals is a really beautiful golf course with interesting course architecture, quite mountainous (Alpine countries might say hilly...) with very varied fairways. A cart is recommended for golfers with only average fitness.
Fast greens, well-kept fairways and fairways round off the picture on the course.
The course was fun every minute - only 18 holes in four hours, that's probably only possible for locals...
The rounds of golf were rounded off by very patient players behind our last tournament flight, very friendly and courteous staff in the ProShop/Counter and the very good “19th hole”.
And since we were a group of 30 players who had come together from all over Germany:

A really "hot" day of golf in September on a great course

What a great golf course and so beautifully hilly. As a Swiss citizen, I didn't expect this to be so far north. I felt quite warm on this hot day. Really exciting holes, well-maintained greens and tees, sometimes knowledge of the course would have helped when it came to corners.
I'll definitely come back when I'm in the area. Great experience!
