Characteristics
The golf course of the Golfclub Seligenstadt am Kortenbach e.V., founded in 2002, is located in Froschhausen near Seligenstadt - around the charming nature reserve Kortenbach - in a quiet yet central location, conveniently located to the A3.
On a spacious 45ha and with three ponds, Germany’s first A-B-C rated 9-hole-course offers golfers of all handicaps a challenge – on a maximum of "27 lanes". From the champion tee the course with a length of almost 6.300m is even a real touchstone.
The golf course is completed by the practice area: a driving range, which offers 5 roofed and 15 open air tees, chipping and putting facilities as well as a training bunker facility.
In our clubhouse, besides the club office, there are also some of the caddy boxes as well as the sanitary facilities and shower rooms.
Our entire club team, the committed pros are in the service to meet all expectations of a perfect golfing day.

Interesting 9 hole course with 3 different tees each - 27 holes
5.0 of 5 starsReviewed July 5, 2024
On our camper tour and the associated visit to friends, we were able to play this small but very nice 9-hole course - and because we liked it so much, we played it twice in a row (with a short break in between).
The course in the small, unspectacular town of Froschhausen seems extremely family-friendly and almost luxurious for a 9-hole course. The clubhouse is quite large and new, as is the restaurant (where we only had coffee and cake, then we had a barbecue with friends). The menu looked quite promising, though.
The course - hole 1 is a strategic hole, on the right is oob (driving range), at driver distance there is a pond with a narrow passage on the right - this is risk&reward for long hitters, but maybe you just lay off on 170 and play the remaining 100-120 safely onto the (quite large) green. The second hole goes in the opposite direction before taking a slightly longer route to hole 3, which in turn has a nice dogleg to the left.
We liked the layout, it was nicely laid out, fairly flat, but definitely challenging. Since there are 3 different tees (sometimes further forward, sometimes further back, and sometimes different directions of the tee depending on the hole), you can tackle 3 x 9 holes with different challenges, which is actually more appealing than it might sound.
We were particularly impressed by the friendliness of all the players, who always greeted us as if we had known each other for a long time!
We certainly could have stayed where we were with the camper, but we were drawn further to the aforementioned friends.
CONCLUSION: A course that is definitely suitable for quick daily rounds. And when you stand on the (quite large) driving range and can admire the long hitter Alex at work, this is definitely no coincidence! We'll be happy to come back!

Interesting 9L place

Flat but long and not as easy as first impressions might be. Good course maintenance. The so-called rating on 27 holes is rather confusing... There are probably frequent changes in the catering in the otherwise beautiful clubhouse.

Revamped!
5.0 of 5 starsReviewed May 7, 2021
After 3 years of abstinence from golf, I was back on my "home course" (I'm a VCGler) in Seligenstadt last week.
1st impression: 3 years is a long time for a lot of changes ;-)
The clubhouse was completely renewed (inside) and optically upgraded. A large club logo now adorns the driving range (can also be used as a "target green") A new starter hut at tee 1 (the old one probably flew away with the players in it during the storm "Fabienne" at the time, was also in the media New flagpoles on the side of tee 1( club flag, DGV flag and flag of Seligenstadt) New club manager New or additional discounts on hole 4 (then shorten from Par5 to Par4, then you no longer hit as on the original tee boxes "around the corner") New or changed tees on hole 7 (old tee women is now tee men, is then par 3, women got a completely new tee for Par3, old tee men is now "champion tee" and turns the Par3 a Par4, also a new tee for women created for Par4 Completely new gastronomy( unfortunately currently closed due to corona: /) New fountain in water hazard 1
Due to the said storm, however, a lot of the forest around it has also disappeared, or it is now "very light" on 1 and 2 ;-)
It was also very positive that you weren't "forgotten", I was recognized and "updated" immediately ;-)
Looking forward to my first round.
