Characteristics
The course is situated in the Hoher Vogelsberg nature park at the bottom of the Hohe-Rodskopf in Schotten-Eschenrod.
In 1997, the course was extended to 18 holes. With their sophisticated design, the new holes place extraordinarily high demands on the golfers. When the weather is good, the new part of the course provides a grand view of Frankfurt, Nidda, and Gedern. The new 9 hole course was built and opened in 2010. It is an public-course for players
whitaout an club-membership.

Start at 12.15 p.m. Few in front of me, none behind me.
Pure tranquility. At tee 3 I can see the skyline of Frankfurt when the visibility is good. At tee 5 I look back over the Wetterau to the Taunus with the Feldberg, the Hohe Rodskopf in omnipresent. A break at hole 8. Sheep and goats graze with their young animals next to me.
At hole 18, with a view of the clubhouse, 3 great strokes and a decent stalemate.
Now the day is crowned with a cool wheat beer and a great pizza.
