Characteristics
The course is situated on a completely level terrain. The special charm of the course is due to the plethora of beautiful old trees, which were joined by 20,000 new ones during the reconstruction of the premises. The medieval Myllendonk water castle, which was built on beams in the meadowlands of the river Niers forming the south-western border of the course, is the Club's centrepiece. Its main characteristics are the tributaries and the natural ponds. Since 2010 the course was modernized with 2 new holes, the renovation and extension of the practising area along with a facelift of the tees, greens, bunkers and fairways.

The three of us played this extraordinary golf course and agreed that it was a first-class parkland course. The scenery with the impressive castle is sensational. The 18, where you always have the castle in mind, is probably one of the most beautiful final holes in Germany. You have to play the quite varied course strategically, otherwise a good score is not possible. The greens are very fast and almost without exception heavily undulated.
