Wine first than golf
3.0 of 5 starsReviewed August 10, 2021
I haven't been there for 7 years and not much changed. :D This course is village course in the middle of vineyards. Everything there is very close from the training areas to hotel. Very convenient place for golf and wine lovers. You will be warmly welcomed at reception, they are very friendly and helpful. Accommodation is also possible in nearby hotel. Now to the course do not expect anything special, its not top notch course as I said you need to enjoy the wine first. Quality is so so. You will observe many ground squirrels, they are funny but for sure not good for course. We get to course in the middle of summer deal, so pricewise its very cheap for Austria. Fairways were quite dry, with many spots. Cannot judge the greens much, because they were few weeks after maintenance. On the course there is only few interesting holes, I would say back nine is more preferable for me. For sure we will remember last hole since its a huge drive down to the clubhouse.

Worth a visit
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed July 17, 2022
Played the course in windy but sunny weather, very nice experience. Wonderful landscape, ripe apricots on the trees, bone-dry fairways had great lengths through the roll, great greens.
Little activity, it couldn't be more relaxed. The place is a bit remote, but the trip always pays off. The restaurant mediocre, excellent apricot dumplings. Fair prices. Successful day of golf!

Beautiful and interesting
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed October 25, 2019
Were playing in Poyadorf at the beginning of September.
Despite the dryness, surprisingly good condition!
Driving range and practice facilities also alright Very varied course with some difficult holes.
The place embedded in vineyards, promises a cozy round with great views.
Marks, fairways, bunkers and greens well maintained and the tee on the 18 overlooking Poyadorf completes a beautiful round of golf perfectly!
We can not say anything about the gastronomy, since we only had a coffee.
I'm sure I'll be back.

Good place with a nice view
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed August 19, 2018
The Zugabg to the place you have to work with the first hole first, arrived at the top waiting for a really beautiful hilly course in the middle of the vineyards, with really nice view.
In total, you make some height, the fairways are mostly for yourself, you rarely see other flights.
On the 18 it goes down with a nice tee the hitherto won altitude.
Secretariat very friendly, restaurant we did not visit.

Perfectly maintained place

Have the system on 17 / 18.5.2018 played. 1x in the rain, 1x in the sun, super well-kept condition, except the greens I do not want to judge, since they were only recently aerifiziert. The cleaning system in front of the clubhouse entrance could be better.
I stayed in the Hotel Veltlin and find service, food and rooms in order.

Summer Surprise - "tipp · topp"
5.0 of 5 starsReviewed August 16, 2017
Contrary to many opinions from 2014/15/16...
Played on 15.8.17
- Despite heat and dry season - very good place conditions!
- greens cleanly rolled, and best "dressed" ... top!
- Fairways are generally harder in summer.
- no significant damage sites or bald spots.
- Fair pricing (Summerspecial)
Great praise to the Greenkeeper team!
PS:
- Golfrestaurant including staff still has potential and still needs "pro-hours"

Great place in contrast to the service staff of the restaurant
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed July 24, 2017
Beautiful place embedded in the landscape between vineyards and orchards. Wide fairways. First hole steeply uphill a challenge. For the 18th hole an eye-catching look at the tee.
Secretariat very friendly and attentive.
In contrast, the service staff of the restaurant leaves much to be desired. 35-40 minutes waiting time after Urgenz on a Viennese schnitzel from the pig and a standard goulash at a more semi-locale. Then not even an apology from the waitress from our northern neighbor.
I have renounced a consumption after the beautiful round.

Dear Mr. Ernesto P.
I am very pleased that you enjoyed the golf game on our golf course.
For the inconvenience in the restaurant would like to apologize, may however also point out that the restaurant and hotel are a separate business and the golf club in the sense nothing to do. At the very least, I have forwarded your letter to the management, so that similar incidents will be avoided in the future.
Best regards

A place with tricks
3.0 of 5 starsReviewed May 29, 2017
The place is embedded in the typical hilly area of the region. The first hole can not be called as such, here only straight beats are rewarded. In my opinion, the square generally has too many outskirts, but this seems to be due to the adjacent fields, grains and vineyards. The landscape is fantastic, unfortunately the federal road almost everywhere underneath. In the summer, the place dries very quickly, but this could only be compensated by excessive water consumption. One can complain about the bunker, strategically very well but in really bad condition (lots of stones and extremely hard and not worked). The office is competent, the pro shop has been reduced in recent years. The next restaurant and hotel is worth a visit. Carts available, dogs allowed everywhere.

Perfectly situated golf course
5.0 of 5 starsReviewed April 5, 2017
Not only the location, embedded in the beautiful Weinviertler nature, no also the care of the place is in a really great condition. The restaurant of the Hotel Valtellina offers after the round, many delicacies and of course one or another glass of wine.

Gladly again
3.0 of 5 starsReviewed June 17, 2013
The space is beautifully nestled in the landscape. The first hole is equal to once a challenge. the rest is not easy to play.
The fairways are well maintained, the greens a little bumpy. maybe the players should remember that there is also a pitch fork!

Beautiful golf course between vines and apricot trees
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed April 18, 2013
Golf Course: Once you have realized the steep increase of one hole behind, coming very beautiful and challenging holes in a landscape on top too. The place looks easier to play at first glance than it actually is.
Location status: Games this place once or twice usually seen early in the season and have so far only well cared for him.
Start time of booking: uncomplicated
Conclusion: This place can play more confidently, will not be boring. The crowning glory is - as always - the discount on the 18! The should not be missed.
