Mountain hike golf included

Played this course for the first time. The reception was very nice and friendly. GF a bit (too) expensive. The start is at 970 m above sea level and it's always steeply uphill. Partly in switchbacks and a cart or at least an electric trolley is definitely recommended. The course has been newly laid and the turf is not yet in a very good condition. On top of that, it rained a lot beforehand and that doesn't make the game any easier. The greens, on the other hand, are very good and relatively fast. All of them are undulating and not easy to play. It's also a shame that the distances cannot be shown on the clocks. The course is not yet recorded in the system. There are really quite a few very challenging holes due to the hillside location. Since I prefer flatter and less mountainous courses, it was interesting to play it once. The view is beautiful, as befits mountain hikes. So is the restaurant and the service.

The newly rebuilt and renovated square will certainly need another year before it can show its full “splendor”.
Some of the fairways were still quite wet. There were still some pretty serious defects and bare patches on holes 5 and 6 and also on the back nine. The tee boxes are neat, but unfortunately the necessary tee boards with the course of play and the yardage marked on them are missing.
Bunkers are easy to play, all greens appear to have been freshly laid out and are well undulated, but not too fast.
The clubhouse and the surrounding landscape are very beautiful, but the high-voltage power lines visible on many of the fairways are unfortunately a nuisance.
The course is very strenuous as it is quite uphill and downhill.
Very nice (for me) hole 7 and especially hole 12!
Definitely a 4 star place in the future, it'll take a little while!

We played the course 3 years ago and really enjoyed it. You have to love alpine places and scrambling, but then you will be rewarded with beautiful tees "from above" and wonderful views with a great panorama. The tees and greens were impeccable, and the fairways were good too, although (of course) they often hung so that the ball sometimes rolled away into the rough. We enjoyed the round, gladly again.

The 18-hole course Rinn is quite a good golf course, although the greens were disappointingly slow. The high voltage line cuts 2/3 of the total space and takes the course a lot of atmosphere! The place is very hilly, at times mountainous, but this is normal and ok in Tyrol / Austria! Buggy or motorcaddy is still a very good investment. Really top is the place actually only from 9 to 15! No power or road bothers the golf here. The food was as always in Austria very good! The highly praised place does not or only partially approaches its neighbors in Seefeld, Miemming or Achensee.
Nevertheless, you can invest the daily fee and play both Igls seats.
Start time urgently needed, space heavily frequented!
