Nice place with small defects

The ambience with the castle and the corresponding courtyard is picturesque and very appealing. The terrace invites you to stop before the round. The driving range is moderately attractive but functional and adequate. The chipping area and the practice green are very neat and always meet the requirements before a round.
The course presented itself in October 2022 in very good condition. The greens were excellent and very fast. The par 3 holes are challenging for the average golfer and, at two times over 200 m, are definitely more bogey holes. But some par 4 holes offer very good par opportunities.
The signage of the facility is in need of improvement in two points.
The gastronomy was excellent with very friendly staff. We can recommend a visit to the facility.

I played the course at the end of March. The course design and topography are nothing special, but nothing to complain about either.
I missed 3 things:
- I couldn't find a place to park. There was simply no parking on site. Maybe I just didn't find them. I then had to park in a residential area nearby and walked to the facility.
- There are no distance markings on the edge of the fairway. These are embedded in the ground in the middle of the fairway. In my opinion, this is not equivalent to distance markings on the edge. If you are not in the middle of the fairway, it is extremely difficult to see the distance.
- The biggest deficiency is the poor signage already mentioned by others. I got so lost several times that I had to walk back whole lanes cursing. "Next Tee" signs are regularly missing or so awkwardly positioned that you don't see them. I've been playing golf for 20 years and I've never gotten so lost on a course.

Played 18 holes today with the Rheingolfcard 2-1.
The place is only moderately interesting, lots of motorways. The long semi rough makes the course more difficult than it seems. Two par 3 over 200 m and 2 par 4 over 400 m are quite a challenge.
Very good condition, medium-speed greens, very good greenkeeping.
