Golf in the HOCHsauerlandkreis

Played on 30.5.2018. The 9-hole course in the middle of nowhere in the Hochsauerlandkreis offers enough variety for golfers at par 35, as it has a few tee-offs, at least for men, a second tee variant. The biggest challenge is certainly the height differences. It is actually constantly up and down. From the elevated tees you have good views of the area, but you also look at industry and a quarry. In principle, the place is in the middle of a beautiful nature, but you can hear quite a lot of the main road or a railway. The condition was generally okay, the greens faithful. The small but nice clubhouse is modern and equipped with everything we golfers need. If the secretariat is closed (was the case with me) there is a practical green box outside. Friendly people in the restaurant are happy to help. The green fee is reasonable and there is no supplement for golfers without "r" golf-promoting way. Contrary to the prices of the homepage you can pay for only 9 holes. The game operation on a sunny Wednesday evening was manageable. The members I met greeted everyone in a friendly way. So if you have nothing against inclines on the golf course and in the vicinity, then a round is definitely recommended.

Actually, we are on vacation no friends of 9-hole courses, but since "Leisure Break" was moderately-nothing else in the area, we decided to play 18 holes... and were not disappointed. The course is for us flatlanders already close to the mountains. Who thinks the elevated green at the 4 is steep, has not climbed the 7, a pair of 5 with 60 meters height - uphill! Mountain goats feeling!
If you play a little strategically and can put the driver sometimes makes the place a lot of joy. Conveniently for us were also 2 times 9-hole, because you know the pitfalls somewhat in the second round.
