The course with its views was very beautiful and the reception very friendly and helpful. With challenging holes but easy to master. Birdiebook was free. Unfortunately, the course was very, very muddy and clayey in autumn 2024, which meant that the golf trolleys looked accordingly and were a lot heavier than before. Here we did not think the price of 89 euros was justified. Playing was very difficult on various holes because sand had also been scattered on some of the fairways. In summer I can imagine it looking better. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend the car park opposite as a motorhome parking space because it is very sloping and right next to the road. So it was very loud again and again during the night because the vehicles could be heard very well. The food in the hotel (Greek) was good and the lady who served us was very friendly and nice.

As the third place on our campervan tour, I called to ask if it would be possible to spend the night before our round. We had visited Koblenz during the day and wanted to play golf the next day. We were told that it would be no problem as long as we left enough space for everyone else. With a campervan, that's no problem. We spent a quiet night.
The club manager, Mr. Lederer, booked us in with a "very nice couple," but I started the round with a few bad shots. Oh well, that's golf. At least it got better later.
The course itself is very beautiful, with a lot of ups and downs, hilly but not constantly sloping. It is in top condition. It was also great to have someone there who knows the course and knows where to play better (or not). It doesn't always work out (as I said, that's golf) but it's always good to know... One of the most beautiful courses on our tour!
The shower afterwards was OK, the food in the hotel (Greek) was very good. We also had breakfast there in the morning and had a very nice chat with a lady who lives above the golf reception (and advised her, among other things, to start playing again).
Overall, we really liked the place and especially the people - and we took the club manager's tip to go straight to Trier instead of Cochem (after a short detour to Cochem) and didn't regret it. Thank you for that too!!

Overall moderately difficult course (minimum handicap 45 justified) with mostly wide fairways, some water hazards and rather longer lanes. Beautiful views of the Rhine Valley, sometimes quite a climb and height differences. After 18 lanes without an e-cart or trolley, you know what you've done. The greens in particular are well maintained. Hole 19 highly recommended. Disciplined friendly audience. Etiquette is lived. The course is very well maintained, the greens aerated, sanded and now back in top condition. The drought of recent years has damaged numerous trees; they had to be felled without losing their parkland character. Safety first. Some tracks are very long. I just knock off the blue. You also need a good level of fitness in the hilly landscape. Even with repeated games, the course never gets boring, it is extremely varied. We hope that the gastronomy will be able to reopen soon and that foreign players can enjoy the place.

Played on May 15th, 2020. This is almost unfair on one or the other track. Even a few extra balls can't hurt. Unfortunately, contrary to expectations, you rarely have a beautiful view of the area from the individual lanes, the best possibly at the men's tee of 18, from where you have a small view of the Rhine looking backwards. The course was in a very good condition, especially the greens were well maintained, relatively fast and faithful, like carpets, although the breaks were very difficult to read. The sand in the bunkers was also very fine and white and was perfect to play. Incidentally, you only get back to the clubhouse after 10 instead of 9 holes.
