Characteristics
In a meadowy countryside, typical of Schleswig-Holstein, the nine holes spread over a terrain left of the Ohlau River. Very nice forest place.
Trees not only beside the fairways, but also in the middle or half hanging over the green. Unfortunately, after heavy rain, there is 0 roll. The greens are very good. All in all, the course rating is correct here.

I went golfing there on May 1st, 2024. First of all, there was no waiting time at all even though I hadn't reserved a tee time and it was a holiday. I was totally impressed. I have to say that the course survived the long wet period very well. The greens are in perfect shape. 2-3 fairways still have a few spots that are still quite wet. The course itself is beautiful though. Great old trees. Small streams that run along the course. The nice thing is that you don't have to be a long hitter on the course, you have to play very precisely. I have rarely played such a beautiful 9-hole course. The mega highlight, however, is the clubhouse catering. A top-class Italian restaurant. Incredibly delicious.

I played the place yesterday for the first time. It was a Monday at noon. The secretariat and the catering were closed. I'll say so, there were hardly any golfers. I quickly filled out the guest questionnaire on the mailbox and off we went.
With great skepticism I made my way to the tee.
Somehow funny golf club I thought. But quickly my opinion changed. The 9 tracks had it all. Slightly shorter than usual, but very tricky, the tracks are created. Partly tight with trees in the way, with lots of water and bunkers in the game I was forced to play defensively. It was my best lap I ever played. The Faiways were very dry and did not look very inviting, it had not rained in SH for weeks, so it was force majeure. The bunkers had partly no sand, but the greens were well maintained and very fast. In the end I still had my fun and am looking forward to the upcoming league game. Highly recommended is the place, because it is somehow special and different. That's why I like to give 4 stars.
