Unfortunately, we were unlucky enough to arrive on a day when a horde of parvenus had invaded. A big compliment to the lady in the office who, after our call at hole seven, immediately sent a member of staff and kept the men behind us at a safe distance. Nevertheless, after three full hours (!) for a measly nine holes, we were fed up and called it a day.
The nine holes played were very nice, varied and could have been really fun. What a pity!
Still four stars because the course is not suitable for wannabe golfers.

The 4th stop on our tour with the motorhome through West Bohemia, at the end of April, was the Golf Resort Františkovy Lázně.
The first surprise was the separate caravan parking lot right next to the clubhouse, equipped with water and electricity connections (overnight fee only 10.00 EUR!).
When registering, it was immediately clear to us in an impressive way that the well German-speaking staff is remarkably careful to meet the guests with special friendliness and to offer excellent service.
The golf course itself and the game on it was a very special experience... and that's actually an understatement! The facility is only about 20 years old, but with a brilliant achievement by the course architect, the mostly very wide and spacious fairways were embedded in an older and hilly forest area, with some larger differences in height and many romantic water features, so that you always have the feeling has to take an entertaining walk through a fairytale forest... and without having to constantly search for his ball in the thicket.
The course is quite demanding and offers many great spots on the tees across various romantically designed ponds and small valleys, as well as on ingeniously designed greens. The game here is anything but a boring course of lanes that are otherwise often only next to each other and so the course offers a golfing experience that is rarely found in this perfection.
