Nice to play, tricky, no clubhouse

We played the course in November 2025, one of the peak seasons for golfers seeking to escape the cold European weather. Tee times were booked in August, so we were able to get our preferred times. It was already quite busy in the morning, and at our tee time, we were sent out on the first nine holes. This is quite common in Morocco, where you don't know in advance which loop you'll be playing, as the caddymaster often decides at the last minute, depending on which loop might be less busy. We found the round quite interesting; the course was in good condition. However, the yellow tees are usually positioned far forward of the blue tees, probably to shorten the course and thus increase the speed. Overall, we enjoyed the course; a few "blind" shots over crests or similar features are always a bit of a surprise on your first round.
The often-mentioned "unfinished" clubhouse was supposedly supposed to open years ago, but things take time. We're curious – but after the round, we were more interested in our accommodation.
Interestingly, for this course, it seems that - at least in 2025 - the Golf Amore card will offer a 2-for-1 game; in any case, several people ahead of us at the counter had a Golf Amore card...

A very beautiful but difficult place

A beautiful parkland course with mature trees (tall eucalyptus trees). We hadn't expected such a green oasis in Morocco.
The fairways and greens were in good condition. Unfortunately, there were many brown patches on the fairways. The numerous areas repaired with rolled turf indicate that work is being done, but likely due to the drought, the results are limited. Overall, we were pleased with the course and its maintenance.
The course is challenging to play on, but very varied. We really enjoyed it. There are a lot of ups and downs, but it's easily manageable on foot.
The clubhouse is currently being rebuilt and is nearing completion. Fantastic architecture!
Registering from home via email worked well. The staff was very friendly.

Better than you would expect

Played the yellow/red course today. A very nice parkland course with a well-balanced level of difficulty. Very well-maintained and true greens. There's still some construction going on in places, and the fairways aren't quite perfect in a few spots. But I've certainly seen worse, and that's just how it is at this latitude. The clubhouse restaurant is still under construction. The best thing, though: because of the many bad reviews, it seems hardly anyone comes here. A smooth round, and I was practically alone on the course, whereas on the neighboring Golf du Solaire (which I played yesterday), three foursomes were practically on top of each other on one hole. So, in my opinion, if you're not going there for the food, you'll get a significantly better playing experience with a course of almost equal quality to the one next door at Golf du Solaire.
