The course is only challenging insofar as the narrow fairways require precise play. However, it is mostly straight ahead, which is a bit boring overall. Otherwise, the course was in good condition, greens were not very demanding, no undulations, so mostly easy. Beautiful landscape with old trees. Beautiful parkland with frequent views of Lac D'Allier where sailing boats and rowing boats can be seen.
The golf course has very narrow fairways, pine and spruce trees line the fairways. Also the very narrow lanes guidance to the adjacent lanes is to be noted.
The ground is very damp and the earth sticks to the trolleys and shoes. You stand on "stilts" because the earth on the soles of your shoes doesn't fall off without doing it.
