Two lovely days of golf
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed May 20, 2014
We meant to play only once but enjoyed Sully so much we extended our stay in the area to play again. . The course is very interesting, and if we lived in the area if we would be pleased to be members. There are three 9 hole courses, and we played on the red (Pheasant) and the blue (Deer) both days, but not on the easier and wider yellow. It a demanding course, with lots of trees and occasional water hazards. The red course is tight and requires accuracy. Course is well maintained and greens are fine. Lovely welcome at clubhouse and from members on first day. Good food. Second day marred by a very slow foursome who had no idea of course etiquette. We hope they were not members, as we experienced such warmth from members on our first day. Visitors welcome to use member facilities which was a first for us in France.

Entertaining, charming, but also rustic
3.0 of 5 starsReviewed August 24, 2021
We were able to convince the lady in the proshop that we could play blue and red (the yellow 9 hole should be pretty bland). that was worth it!
blue and red are topographically and scenically pretty attractive and every now and then it gets pretty tight, so precise play is required.
The restaurant on the 19th hole is also very positive - a dignified lunch!
now to the * rustic *. Course description and marking: minimal. fairways mostly OK. sand bunkers (there are very few) are more of a hard stone desert. Greens were very slow (not mowed) and little undulating. if the ball almost sticks, the undulation no longer plays a role.
Conclusion: the place achieved with me with very little need 3 stars, mainly because of the flaws. but without this there would be 4 stars.
Still, I would play it again anytime and can recommend it without any problems because it is very entertaining.

Dry, easy to play

We played at the end of Aug 2019. The fairways were completely dry. Flat, like. Very nice old trees. The tracks are wide, balls are hardly lost. Enjoyed it.

Beautiful Place

We played yellow and blue. Both pretty but blue a bit more demanding. In July, both courses were very dry. No Fairwayberegnung. Very simple clubhouse. Staff very nice.

Fun!

The place is well maintained, only the blue course was still very low in the morning and wet because it had rained the night before well. Restoration cozy and friendly staff bring a very relaxing day! Would play this course again when I'm in the area.
