First things first: the place is flat, at best slightly wavy. fairways were good; the greens were in good shape, mostly slightly undulating but not a big challenge; bunker sand almost too very good; course description at the tea box very thin.
The course has 3x9 holes and we played WHITE and RED (there is still YELLOW).
WEISS offers almost barrier-free!! golf courses, lined with older, slightly loose trees without undergrowth. ie you can find almost every ball. these 9 holes are a rather bland matter. it all looks about the same. after the 9th hole you can hardly remember anything special. rating: modest 3 *.
RED - the second nine - was a class better. there are now also obstacles - water, sand bunkers and it gets a lot narrower and the trees denser. the first 5 holes offer really nice golf. then the requirement is slightly screwed down, except that length is required. rating: middle 4 *.
the infrastructure around it is very good and the 19th hole has a good restaurant. exceptionally courteous service in the pro shop.
I opted for a 3 * rating (instead of a scarce 4 *) because I don't see that I have to complete a fade 9 hole first before the golfing pleasure starts slowly from hole 10.

We were guests this week and were allowed to play the courses red and yellow. The whole complex is a great parkland course. The red course seems to be newer. This we liked the design slightly better than yellow. In addition, a perfectly maintained fairway, such as a fine green carpet, and lightning-fast greens came. I know and play all the places in Alsace and unfortunately, I only now discovered the Illkirchplatz. The well-kept place was a pleasure and a challenge. Unfortunately, green fee players are not so welcome. I wanted to play with a seniors group from Trier there, but I had the feeling that one thing is of little interest.
