Where is the fairway?

As is so often the case when we drive longer distances, we wanted to relax a little and therefore decided to make a detour to this golf course. The parking lot was almost empty, so we were looking forward to a carefree, fast lap. We bought our green fee (57 euros / person for 18 L) and started in a good mood. Since the golf course is located between two main streets, the road noise could be clearly heard on some fairways. In addition, the French Air Force was probably doing exercises directly above the golf course, which was also disruptive. But we could have lived with that. However, our mood was clearly clouded by the poor condition of the square. The fairways were poorly maintained, with a lot of weeds and large holes. It was absolutely uncomfortable that the fairways hardly differed from the semi-rough. This often made it difficult to see where the fairway was. In front of the greens there was grass, some 10 cm long, several meters wide. We are of the opinion that this is not possible! In stark contrast to this were the extremely well-tended greens. The course is slightly hilly and, apart from the traffic noise, the landscape is not unattractive. All in all, this day of golf was not worth it for us. We cannot recommend the place to others.
