We chose this place along the Loire. Orleans-Dommery, which we actually wanted to play, seems to have had its best days. The fairways were not there and the tees were creepy. Here the place, as the reviews previously indicated, is uncomplicated and was in top condition. As a couple we paid € 79. The greens were perfect and the fairways were lush green. The missing star is for the fact that the showers were not for guests.

On our journey through the Loire Valley, we passed this golf course. Due to the dry summer almost all places we played had dry hard fairways. Here everything was different: Rich green fairways, excellent greens, well-kept tees. The tracks are wide and not too heavy. Ideal terrain for long hitters. Nice, uncomplicated reception in the clubhouse. Although in July / August is absolute high season, was relatively little going on. The green fee is also the highest: 31 € - mind you as Tagesgreenfee! Generous driving range, chipping and 2 putting greens, plus a 3-hole short course. Of course free of charge. A fifth star would have been given if even the driving range balls were free. Gastronomy as in France apparently usual, from 15 o'clock closes the kitchen. Only drinks. Beautiful accommodations with pool in the attached hotel enhance the overall positive impression.
