Very nice location with views over Cherbourg

We were allowed to stay one night in our camper van in front of the little castle. The building is currently under renovation, so there was only one toilet and no shower. However, the restaurant was in good condition. The fairways are well maintained. Hilly, but not too strenuous. Only the path to hole 1 is longer and leads uphill. Later, however, you can go directly from hole 9 to hole 1. The access is, of course, narrow and hilly with a camper van, but where isn't it? The final hill has a 15% gradient. In any case, a great course, and at €100 for two people, it's OK.

The 9 holes snake over the height of a hilly landscape, a lot of forest, march to tea 1 draws something. When the fairways are at an angle, the balls sometimes roll off extremely, but we were also on the way after an exceptionally long heat wave, the tracks dry accordingly.
Very family friendly and friendly service in the clubhouse, completely uncomplicated lunch break between the 2 x 9 hole, honest kitchen.
And always a breeze from the nearby town of Cherbourg with the sea.
Please note: the recommended route is 15% downhill. For the return journey by caravan, we have preferred the way to smaller provincial roads.
