Characteristics
This Golfclub is situated in the Peiner Land between Hannover and Braunschweig. The major part of the 18-hole course is framed by forest. Since the course was set up on sandy soil, it can even be played immediately after heavy rainfall.
Next to driveable Par-4 holes, there are a few very long Par-5 holes, and water features require a tactical game at 6 holes.

Good place - unfortunately secretariat very unfriendly

The place is in a very nice condition. Well-maintained tea boxes and good greens. The course layout is good, the fairway bunker is well placed and the greens are well guarded. Lots of water on the course, which only comes into play temporarily.
The secretariat is unfortunately very rude. Booked at 8:20 am tee time. In Corona times I don't like to pay cash. Therefore entered in the list before the tee with the remark "Pay after the round, please understand". Unkindly instructed when paying, they even wanted to go out with me to show me the payment box. My comment that I am not paying in cash was ignored.
I don't think that's how it works. At least the polite basic manners should be observed. From the top down you won’t win friends of the place - we will definitely not be back.

After a few rounds in previous years, GC Peine is becoming more and more expensive. Gastronomy has always been expandable, you can wait longer or not be served at all. Since you had a party the day before and can't offer any food / drinks at around 11 a.m. on Sunday. Thank God there is breakfast in Edemissen, we are no longer annoyed.
