Characteristics
The Golf Club was established in 1986 and counts among the most beautiful golf courses in Hesse. The course extends over several hills of the protected landscape of the Bergstrasse-Odenwald nature park. Situated at an elevation of 1,150 ft, numerous teeing grounds of the diversified course provide a terrific panoramic view. This is where it simply comes down to playing golf!

In the meantime I played the course several times. A little bit hilly and for high hc not easy to play. The course is well maintained and you have wonderful views to the Odenwald area. Despite that you may miss water hazards, the course requires exact playing and a good strategy. And it so relaxing here, no noise, no people pushing you from behind. And no fixed tee times! Just come and play.
Practice area is great, the staff friendly and the restaurant gives you a lot value for little money.
There is a nice and new hotel - Burghof - very close-by. So book a stay overnight and enjoy Golf and the lovely area.

The course is very varied and fun to play. The beautifully laid out fairways are embedded in a hilly landscape. The condition of the greens was unfortunately not great, very bumpy in places. The range balls were very dirty. We had very nice club members in the flight who gave us lots of tips. Thank you very much. The food in the restaurant was delicious and the price/performance ratio was right. Golfers who have difficulty walking should consider an electric cart, as one or two holes (I'll just mention Schinderhannes) are very challenging. There are also two pitches where mobile homes with an electricity connection can be parked.

We played this course today. The course is very varied and perfectly embedded in the hilly landscape. All holes are in very good condition. From the tee to the flag. Fairways are mostly wide. The receptionist was also very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was closed today, but we knew that beforehand. We recommend an electric kart for older golfers. We'll be back!
