Very competitive course
3.0 of 5 starsReviewed May 19, 2019
I had opportunity to play business tournament there on both courses. We started with Kamptal and next day we played Donauland. I like Kamptal better its more challenging. Donauland has to many boring holes. Greens are well maintained fairways are each different. We were lucky to play in spring. I did not see any sprinklers so it will be probably very dry during summer. Tee boxes are the weakest part there.
Restaurant is good, they had good catering, but bit unorganized waiters. All the other amenities were perfect.

It's fine!

Spacious course. The different degrees of hardness and the ball bouncing are true - that's just how it is when you have little water due to the location! Otherwise a nice course. What is absolutely not acceptable are the frayed holes!!! Putting is no fun here. Tearing the flag to get the ball out has its effect. Suggestion:
Maybe send out a Marshall...?

Kamptal - compared to 2020…….
3.0 of 5 starsReviewed August 25, 2023
…….unfortunately not much has changed or improved.
Fairways are extremely hard and due to the sloping positions, the ball sometimes bounces extremely.
Greens unfortunately equipped with different speeds, practice green very fast, the greens of the fairways a bit slower or at different speeds.
Otherwise place okay, see also rating of 2020!

Good complete package
5.0 of 5 starsReviewed May 7, 2022
We always like to come to Lengenfeld because you can find a really recommendable complete package here. Twice 18 holes, well maintained, quite challenging even if a few par 4 are a bit monotonous. This is offset by a couple of very tricky holes that require precision play. In addition, the wind can sharpen the place again significantly. Greens impeccable. In addition, the pitches are equipped with a wonderful view of the surrounding landscape, which is particularly colorful in spring and autumn. Apart from the golfing demands, the trappings are a lot of fun: extremely friendly secretariat with a well-stocked pro shop, moderate green fees and a very appealing gastronomy. As I said: the overall package is more than coherent. The only downside: the countless ground squirrels that used to happily populate the square have apparently fallen victim to an animal disease.

Excellent
5.0 of 5 starsReviewed September 17, 2021
We played the Kamptal course at the beginning of September. Very interesting fairways, but be careful, very long - from yellow over 6,000 meters! The location and the view of the Kamptal are very beautiful. Nice office, shop a bit confusing, carts available, driving range could be better (lawn tees not mowed). We were then in the attached restaurant, very recommendable! Dogs allowed. We will be back!

Kamptal - Partly monotonous
3.0 of 5 starsReviewed June 2, 2020
There are simply too many par 4s with approximately the same length, four par 3s with a length of around 180 m, the place architect did not allow for much creativity. Only the lane 10, a par 3 with 140 m and the lane 13, a par 5, which attracts risk (teeing off over huge bunkers and possibly a second hit on the green over water) have their attractions.
Par 71 at 6,023 m is rather long, no place to score really well.
Fairways okay, bunker rather not, greens nice but slow or at different speeds.
Secretariat very friendly, restaurant impeccable!

Coherent overall package
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed May 24, 2020
Both courses have their charm, it is more the back nine at Kamptal, the front nine at Donauland. The greens are better on the Danube land, the fairways are better maintained on the Kamp valley. Overall, the fairways are quite "natural", which you have to take into account (balls jump and are susceptible to the slope of the always hanging fairways) and the tea boxes are especially uneven on the Danube land. But these are only small weaknesses, it is really fun to play here, surrounded by a magical landscape, accompanied by many ground squirrels. And the gastronomy is excellent, the secretariat competent and friendly, the pro shop well sorted (say the ladies ...). No crowds, reasonable green fee. All the ingredients for several successful golf days.

Well
2.0 of 5 starsReviewed August 2, 2019
Worse is hardly possible. The discounts katastrofal, bad field and one never stands straight. The fairways rock hard, a bumpy badly cut brown sloping meadow. Due to the hardness of the balls jump uncontrollably in all directions. The only thing that gives joy in the square are the small nimble whiz whizzing everywhere.

Chef screams like a madman, waiter rude, a disaster
1.0 of 5 starsReviewed May 12, 2019
When I am a guest in the restaurant, I would like to be treated nice and polite. The waiter is rude, screams in the kitchen, the cook screams like crazy, what are the conditions. Nobody sees me there anymore. Since I can go to the lunatic asylum. Unprofessional!

A real experience
5.0 of 5 starsReviewed April 22, 2018
On 19.4. in fine weather and all the trees in full bloom the course Kamptal played. Apart from the unbelievable scenery, the place, which is well known to us, was in perfect condition, the tea boxes are the only weak point and the greens are a bit slow. Particularly noteworthy is the friendly reception and the complete deceleration in the square, there are no tea-times on weekdays, you come and play. No traffic jam, no rush, no commotion. Just wonderful. In addition, even droll companions (ground squirrels), whose holes are so numerous that you should not be surprised if you suddenly find a ball in the middle of the fairway no longer... This day of golf four of us will be remembered for a long time.
Lengenfeld is a place that should preferably be visited in the spring, because in summer it is sometimes dust-dry and the place suffers.

On 19.4.2018, on a perfect early summer day, all trees and shrubs in full bloom. In addition, a very well maintained place. Lengenfeld may have weaknesses-we have not seen any of them. In addition, friendly staff.
Go in and play.

A beautiful round...
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed July 9, 2016
We - four friends with HCP from 24 to 33 - have played the course Danubia on 08/07/2016. Interesting and partly tricky the first 9 holes, they require strategic and precise game, if the balls are not somewhere disappear in the railing. The second 9 holes play more easily, are more clearly and get a Longhiter contrary more. Overall a nice and exciting round, tees, fairways and greens in immaculate condition. The service in the restaurant was friendly and quick, the food but we can not vote, because before a visit to restaurants in Langenlois already was planned at Sauberg the crowning glory. We would definitely come back.

Golf: A place with two faces. The first 9 are partially created very narrow, lean angles in all directions included. The second 9 present themselves far more generous, but not very exciting.
Place State: ok
Conclusion: Compared with the Kamptal course rather weak.

Nice
3.0 of 5 starsReviewed February 27, 2014
Course Kamp Valley and the first 9 holes of course Danubia I like very much. To place the care often bad haircuts are worth mentioning.
All Club runs very friendly and homey, but unfortunately the food is not very good. Since it is more suitable to a visit to restaurants in town!

Rate Kamp
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed August 13, 2013
Golf Course:
During the first nine holes then pull terrace as standard, it is the second spectacular scenery clearly. Especially the holes around the lakes are really worth playing.
Location status:
Not outstanding, but ok The greens are rather fast.
Other:
During the week you can find easily without reservation a place to tee.
Conclusion:
A beautifully integrated into the landscape space. If, on the 13 the discount from the elevated tee over the Bunklandschaft and thus attacking the green of this par 5 with the second shot, the golfer strikes the same higher!

Varied
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed May 27, 2013
The nice thing about this golf club is that there are two very interesting courses. I prefer the course Kamp. this is of course interesting for me, he just offers more variety.
1 the courses (Kamp u Danube country): well maintained, fairways quite dry and therefore hard greens are in good condition 2 staff: both in restaurant and at the reception friendly 3 conditioning fitted beautifully into the landscape and well maintained 4 restaurant: do not visit it. quality can be improved. but what is not is that is smoked in the restaurant.

Those who love wine...
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed May 24, 2012
Rate Kamp: The first 9 holes are back and forth, with some slopes. The second 9 holes are absolutely beautiful, with water and very varied! Simply because of these 9 holes of the course is worth playing. Place good condition. The course is nestled in the vineyards, which (for wine lovers) gives it a certain charm. Especially great is the wine trail, at each tee is a vine with the variety name and description.
Restaurant also good, friendly and fast.

Beautiful varied fairways
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed May 3, 2012
We played at 30 April 2012 at the price of very nice weather Kamp. Great varied fairways and very well maintained. The most beautiful place on the tee 13 is overlooking a large pond.
The course is easily walkable.
Why is there no 6 stars?
No toilet paper in the toilet fairway, the machines were too warm drinks in the restaurant and we had to wait endlessly for the waiter both the order and the payment of your invoice.
