One of the most beautiful places in Hessen! Everything just fits here. From the clubhouse, the location and the layout, the place is simply great. The condition of the course is also really great for a course located in the forest! The only point of criticism is unfortunately the newly changed hole 18, which was much nicer to play before. Unfortunately, the new 18th green looks a bit "wrong" because its style somehow looks like a piece of another square. Overall, the course is extremely interesting to play and always worth a visit! I played this course in the summer of 2017. The reception in the Secretariat was friendly, the place (weekday around 11 clock) not very busy. There are no tee times, so Tee 1 was in line with other waiting players. After 2 holes, I ran on a 4-game group, which let me play right through. Big plus for practiced etiquette!
Course 1-4 then made a lot of fun with good water and good tracks. But after that? Solid fairways, beautiful old trees, but no highlight or signature hole, which will be remembered.
