Very basic 9-holes
2.0 of 5 starsReviewed August 30, 2023
Very basic 9-holes. More like a practise course than a proper golf course. Course condition was bad and there’s no any services available.
Nice view and if you are in town you can play it. Easy to walk. Greenfee was 45e in weekday.

Customer service not in the dictionary

The golf course is very interesting. Quality greens. However the staff were very unfriendly, the only moment I noticed any interest that we were there was when it was time to pay. When I asked the simple question “Where is the driving range, the woman at reception grunted I’m sure you can find it!!!

Hidden Champion!

Hidden Champion!
Today I played golf course No. 282 in my "collection". In two places I was really surprised at how well the greenkeeping can keep the course in good shape: around Reyklavik and here in Corvara. There are no tee times, play as you come. First impression: Nice but a bit confusing, we immediately made a serious mistake: we only booked 9 holes, but had the CAMERAS READY, which you should definitely consider here. Photoshoot at almost every hole, wonderful views. Tee1 immediately a blind blow, you are a little at a loss until you can see over the top. Furthermore, the first 6 holes that are built close but not really close to each other. Surprise: PERFECT course maintenance, fairways like carpets, good (mostly CLOCK GLASS) greens, which, thank God, are not so fast as an arrow that they would overwhelm the bogey golfer.
Very varied layout, each hole different. There are always considerable differences in height to be mastered, at the 5 chance of personal longest drive ever.
Then you have to walk a few 100 m around the appropriate range (yes, they have one!) To reach a spectacular 3 final holes.
back at the clubhouse it was no problem to pay the difference to the 18 hole green fee and to be able to experience the whole thing a second time. Mistake corrected! And in the second round you know much better where the ball should go.
This place is a hidden champion, especially when you consider that the season lasts just 3 months (end of June to beginning of September), real enthusiasts must be at work here, you certainly can't get rich with this wonderful place. Thank you!

Spectacular panorama, 9 hole golf absolutely ok
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed July 30, 2019
Compliments to the previous reviews, which were really helpful: breathtaking is above all the panorama. We were as a family four today in Corvara: the place is short, has certainly much more than the webpage announced 45 meters to offer (which are estimated to be the second green consumed) and really fun to play. The greens are moderate and slow, but we did not expect a championship course. For 9 holes as part of a trip to Corvara this was a great, all-round harmonious experience. Can you recommend in good conscience! Price / performance is right.

Played on 7 August. Very friendly front desk and a golfrunde which will be remembered. Such a well-kept place and high-quality greens I would never have expected. Datu comes that you almost every hole enjoys a different panorama.
On foot it can be exhausting!
I will definitely come back here.
Mille Grazie

110% panorama!
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed June 12, 2017
The previous review is nothing to add. Well, driving range is a bit too short for long hitter and our young savages. DR free of charge. Greenfee weekly 40 €. With Albrecht voucher book it is worth it here. Will come back.

A 9-hole course at 1,700 meters above sea level surrounded by the breathtaking scenery of the Dolomites
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed January 9, 2012
Surrounded by the peaks of the Dolomites to the 9-hole golf course overlooking the resort of Alta Badia Corvara in Alta Badia is located at 1,700 meters above sea level. The design and maintenance of the state space corresponds to the usual standard - the breathtaking scenery of the surrounding peaks of the Dolomites in Alta Badia golf makes a special experience. Treat yourself to a round in this beautiful alpine scenery!
The golf course is located high above Corvara, about 3 km south on the road to Passo Campolongo. Corvara from the golf course is signposted. The clubhouse is a simple, purpose-built wooden cabin next to a farm. German is spoken in the office even though the Alta Badia is the heartland of the Ladin language together with the neighboring Val Gardena, Dolomites and other valleys. Ladin is in addition to German and Italian, the third official language in South Tyrol, there is a Romanic language.
The course is moderately hilly, he is mostly in open terrain on a mountain in Northwest location. The first six holes are located at the clubhouse during the final three holes are about half a kilometer further up the valley. I must honestly admit that I am overwhelmed by the impressive mountain panorama with postcard weather. Look for sheer and photographing almost the golf comes up short. (Played in the summer of 2010)

Golf holiday experience Corvara
2.0 of 5 starsReviewed October 18, 2011
The only rating... read here and must provide the correct content of the report some. In August 2011, I had spent with my wife's holiday in Corvara, in a good hotel but unfortunately without a green advantage. The Alta Badia golf course with 9 hole course is quite interesting to play at a height of about 1700 m. The 40 m height difference are unfavorable and exhausting without buggy. The green fees are regarded as altogether neglected.
The greens dagen well maintained, very fast, unfortunately, this very uneven with high difficulty. The signs for the neighboring terrain with hole 7,8 +9 is not at all obvious to strangers new players (Urlaubeer).
The driving range is unfortunately without supervision, so that an accident problem! Particularly silly (young boys) golfers do not hit the balls in the wide direction for thought but some stupid straight up towards green fees. We were also very surprised when we were almost taken the game of golf the golf balls of the stupid boys. My only objection lautscharker brought over to the really not far entferten driving range for about 2 minutes! improvement. But then there were further high hit balls, which always landed on the green fees. When we forced their way to the holes 7,8 +9 participated briefly in the direction we went driving range where our two young Italians came to meet, in Italian very politely tried to apologize. Unfortunately the two did not respond in German language, presented stupid. Of course that was particularly stupid, because it is taught in the schools of South Tyrol Italian, German and Ladin.
A complaint was the secretary "can not help it" from the overloaded acting lady with a sad gesture answered. All in all not to recommend this golf course. Only the view was a consolation prize but unfortunately not enough if the game of golf the meaning for us. A golfer from Berlin

LUIS TRENKER LEAVE OF THE DOLOMITE GREET
5.0 of 5 starsReviewed September 16, 2010
No place can you offer as a Outlook Sassongher, Sella and Marmolada (glacier) accompany you on manicured fairways (an interesting challenge to 1700m) but not all of the space is not to be underestimated too long, the greens are fast and in good condition the price of the green fees is reasonably been Setretariat and friendly, like a little clubhouse huts ihet no restaurant but Corvara is not far
