Interesting 9-hole course just to the east next to Ringstrasse 1 in direction Akureyri, about 28 km outside Borgarnes:
The tracks are clearly arranged, but in many cases narrow landing zones, which necessitates precise play from the tee-off. The greens are partly easy onduliert, but overall very good to play. Too bad that the tea boxes are for the most part poorly maintained and very high grass, which can be felt especially for middle and high Handicapper as disturbing.
As a compensation to larger places and to the training, this place is however very well suited. Play absolutely! The spectacular train 9 (par 3) is a highlight: a tee-off over a small lake with a lava field behind it.
