Poor course conditions
2.0 of 5 starsReviewed November 12, 2017
I play this course in Oct/2017. I booked my tee time in advance. To my surprise, on a Sunday, the front desk didn't assign other players to my tee time. In front of me a big group playing a tournament and behind me several foursomes.
A friendly staff would try to ask local players to take me with them. It seems that this practice doesn't have a logic in spain.
The course was in bad shape, fairways and greens.
Greenfee are way cheaper compared to other clubs in the Costa Dorada. My recommendation go to the Resorts and forget about local clubs. Resort will have enough resources to keep the course on shape.

Development in the right direction
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed December 3, 2024
When we last played in Aigüesverds 16 years ago, the course was still a mediocrely maintained field. Today we returned to the course, now called Gaudí Reus Golf Club, for "nostalgic reasons" and were very pleased. A lot has changed!
square design
- Of course there are more exciting places in the world, but the layout here is quite interesting and presents one or two challenges
Condition of the pitch
- The tees were flat and basically absolutely OK, even if the grass was not dense everywhere.
- The fairways were apparently freshly seeded a few weeks ago. The result is not yet perfect, but it is on the right track. If the winter months bring a little water now and then, a wonderful course will be ready in the spring.
- Fortunately, the bunkers are well filled. Some have sand in them, others have fine gravel. Both types are playable.
- The greens were great! Snappy, fast and without the common spots. Despite being aerated a few days ago, they played very true to the course.
Attachment
- There are enough parking spaces
- The installations are simple and practical - nothing luxurious, but somehow very fitting to the rest of the picture
- Driving range, putting green, restaurant, changing rooms, pro shop etc. - everything is there.
staff
- We were treated very kindly by AZ on and off the pitch and felt very comfortable
- The greenkeepers keep a watchful eye on the golfers and communicate well
Miscellaneous
- We were the first flight and got through in 3 hours with trolleys
- Behind us, each flight was filled with 2-4 people, and we had the impression that the Tatzelwurm (mostly people > 65 years) was moving at a pretty decent pace (estimated time: 4 hours)
- The vast majority walked - a cart is not necessary due to the topography
Conclusion: We have rediscovered this place and will be happy to return to it when we are in the area again.

So-so
3.0 of 5 starsReviewed May 14, 2024
We booked with GolfOMax and paid €50 for 2. For that money, the course was OK. But not for more. A bit unkempt, long paths through urbanization, at the toilet on number 8 the "result" ran out from under the door... in the bar there was only a small snack after 4 p.m. and a towel for showering costs €4.
The very friendly staff deserved a better rating!
Motorhomes are welcome, even with overnight stay

The best golf club in Tarragona
5.0 of 5 starsReviewed August 26, 2022
It is a completely flat golf club with adequate difficulty. It also has water elements that make it pleasant.
A few years ago it was not well preserved, but in 2019 it began to be fixed and now it has radically changed for the better.

Gauda Golf has developed very positively
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed October 5, 2021
After a fire in the main building, the golf course was hardly playable for years. It was all the more surprising that the golf course has now gained a lot after the renovation. New driving range, new clubhouse with a nice restaurant with a pleasant green fee. Very friendly staff. We'll play the course more often now.

Price performance is right
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed May 15, 2017
The place is certainly not the first choice, but compared to the much more expensive places in the area an alternative which I personally liked.
The staff is attentive and cordial. Even without registration it was no problem to get a start time in the high season.
The new driving range directly opposite the registration is covered and you can practice at all times sun protection very nice and hit.
The place itself is embedded in the built Golfresort very nicely, however, the signs to the next hole could be better. The individual holes are very different and varied, especially the green at the hole 4 which is designed as an island leaves no claim open. The view into the urbanization, where possible, or to the nearby sea, leaves nothing to be desired.
I can only follow the other opinions: There are better places, but not for this price!

Not worth the trip
3.0 of 5 starsReviewed November 3, 2014
Scenic boring tourist place; poorly maintained; Layout sometimes questionable surrounded by houses; only few mature trees. We (HDCP 3 and 12) have played a round in March 2014, without prior registration / start time. Staff was friendly. Since in the area are much better places, we would play this course again not.

Worthwhile
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed September 23, 2011
The Club de Golf Reus Aigüesverds has left a good impression on me. The place is certainly not at the top level, but it is certainly a worthwhile alternative to the more expensive places in the vicinity.
The welcome is warm, start times in high season at lunchtime, no registration no problem. This gives unasked pencil, scorecard and stroke saver - presented with a beautiful smile.
The driving range and no longer serves its purpose, provided, of course, to find them and is without prejudice to the crossing of two fairways...
The place is nestled in an interesting way in a residential area, so you get the feeling manchesmal to play across the resort. More than once you have the chance to get lost on the way to the next hole and finds herself suddenly with his buggy in a residential road again. The individual holes terms of their characteristics are very different and varied, so here are never bored. Sometimes they think they are in a created almost a seemingly temporary hole that soon may already another holiday home falls victim to stand shortly before an elaborate and lovingly designed water hazard.
Conclusion: There are better places, but not at this price!
