Characteristics
The 18 par 71 holes that make up the Gaudí Reus Golf Club course can be played on foot, as the slopes are very gentle. Its difficulty does not lie in the distance, but in the various lakes, the well-placed bunkers and the narrowness of some of the fairways. The course is ideal for all types of players of all levels as it allows us to execute all types of shots, forcing us to play with all the clubs in the bag. Its fast, medium-sized greens pose different challenges depending on the position of the flags.

Poor course conditions

I play this course in Oct/2017. I booked my tee time in advance. To my surprise, on a Sunday, the front desk didn't assign other players to my tee time. In front of me a big group playing a tournament and behind me several foursomes.
A friendly staff would try to ask local players to take me with them. It seems that this practice doesn't have a logic in spain.
The course was in bad shape, fairways and greens.
Greenfee are way cheaper compared to other clubs in the Costa Dorada. My recommendation go to the Resorts and forget about local clubs. Resort will have enough resources to keep the course on shape.

When we last played in Aigüesverds 16 years ago, the course was still a mediocrely maintained field. Today we returned to the course, now called Gaudí Reus Golf Club, for "nostalgic reasons" and were very pleased. A lot has changed!

- Of course there are more exciting places in the world, but the layout here is quite interesting and presents one or two challenges
Condition of the pitch
- The tees were flat and basically absolutely OK, even if the grass was not dense everywhere.
- The fairways were apparently freshly seeded a few weeks ago. The result is not yet perfect, but it is on the right track. If the winter months bring a little water now and then, a wonderful course will be ready in the spring.
- Fortunately, the bunkers are well filled. Some have sand in them, others have fine gravel. Both types are playable.
- The greens were great! Snappy, fast and without the common spots. Despite being aerated a few days ago, they played very true to the course.

- The installations are simple and practical - nothing luxurious, but somehow very fitting to the rest of the picture
- Driving range, putting green, restaurant, changing rooms, pro shop etc. - everything is there.

- We were treated very kindly by AZ on and off the pitch and felt very comfortable
- The greenkeepers keep a watchful eye on the golfers and communicate well
Miscellaneous
- We were the first flight and got through in 3 hours with trolleys
- Behind us, each flight was filled with 2-4 people, and we had the impression that the Tatzelwurm (mostly people > 65 years) was moving at a pretty decent pace (estimated time: 4 hours)
- The vast majority walked - a cart is not necessary due to the topography
Conclusion: We have rediscovered this place and will be happy to return to it when we are in the area again.

We booked with GolfOMax and paid €50 for 2. For that money, the course was OK. But not for more. A bit unkempt, long paths through urbanization, at the toilet on number 8 the "result" ran out from under the door... in the bar there was only a small snack after 4 p.m. and a towel for showering costs €4.
The very friendly staff deserved a better rating!
Motorhomes are welcome, even with overnight stay
