Nice, but not without danger

The Gairloch 9-hole course, right next to the road on the coast, can also be played as an 18-hole course due to the mostly offset second tees on the second nine.
It actually has no water, few bunkers and quite a bit of rough where, if you don't know the place, you can quickly lose a few balls.
It's amazing how you still have some spots right on the coast where you can play in depth, which makes the course interesting.
Unfortunately there are some blind tees.
The biggest drawback of the place are the midges (don't forget mosquito spray) and it is dangerous that some lanes cross.
When we played (6:00 p.m.) the space was very little occupied, so there was no risk for us.
Warning, there are Twilight bookings, in August this meant only £ 10 after 6:00 p.m.
We think it's worth playing

Beautiful 9-hole course in a small bay right on the beach overlooking the village of Gairloch. We were there on a Sunday, and the clubhouse and the small pro shop were closed so we unfortunately did not get our obligatory Logoball. There is a box with envelopes for the green fee, unfortunately there were no more scorecards.
There are two different tea boxes for each hole, so you can play an 18-hole round that is not the same 9-hole twice. The place is relatively short but the greens were in good shape, Rough is not very high and fair and one, two holes are blind to play.
