I played Myrtue twice in August 2015. The layout is great, and so are the greens. Well manicured course, nice bunkering and true rolling greens. Good price. Hope to play both courses in the future.

The Esbjeg Golf Club's Maerbaek course is embedded in the surrounding heathland. The first nine lanes are certainly beautiful to look at when they are in bloom in late summer. The paths are slightly undulating and mostly surrounded by pine trees. The condition of the course is generally good, but there was mowing residue on almost all holes, which somewhat spoiled the enjoyment of the game after the rainy days. Before the game started, I was informed that the greens had been aerated and sanded a week ago, so putting was completely fine for me. However, the course layout is not very varied with mostly straight courses and no major highlights. The price of currently 500 crowns is okay.
