Characteristics
Dundrum House Hotel, Golf & Leisure Resort is a must visit when planning your future outings. This wonderful 18 hole Championship golf course has been woven into the fabric of this mature Georgian estate, designed by 1995 Ryder Cup hero, Philip Walton. Using the natural features of woodland and parkland, adorned by the Multeen River, Philip has created an exhilarating, par 72 course that provides a real test of golf. The visual delights of this magnificent setting are many - just a few hundred yards from the banks of the Multeen River, its rich population of mature woodland, and lakes - all set against the backdrop of the Golden Vale of Tipperary.
This much sought after golf course is managed by course director Willie Crowe, son of Austin & Mary Crowe, the proprietors of this impressive Resort. Each year the prestigious Philip Walton Pro-Am is held in July and the club enjoys regular golf societies, corporate groups, charity events and individuals. The latest addition to our golf course are two new greens, on holes 16 and 17 which makes this a true championship test measuring 7200 yards off the blue markers.

Great!
5.0 of 5 starsReviewed May 21, 2023
My 1st course in Ireland and it was really 1st class! (Apart from my score, because it's really demanding, partly narrow and several times with water - everyone gets their money's worth) I was greeted so warmly by Mary (and by Marian) as if I were a long-standing member! I immediately felt at ease. In addition, I was able to start very spontaneously (and inexpensively, which I realized in the end) after the last Lady Day flight.
The entire course was well maintained, the greens in great condition, the individual holes (with and without water) very varied. The ancient trees are fantastic! And every personal encounter with other golfers was very friendly and courteous. No hint of hubris or arrogance.
I would highly recommend Dundrum Hotel Golf Resort (Tipparary) Golf Club!

Nice parkland course

Played mid-June. Very beautiful parkland course. Good price-value.
One big minus point, the shelter. Should be removed from the game.
